Hospitality Internship

I'm working in a 4-star hotel in Gold Coast. It's my first time to work in a totally English environment. I was nervous at the beginning and after a month, I could get along well with my colleagues and make friends with some of them. The work here is not easy. I work 7-8 hours a day, 5 days a week during the slack season, and 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week during the peak season.

I gaint a lot by working with my colleagus, always learning something new from them. It's interesting to help people who live our hotel with different background. They share their culture and experince with us sometimes. It's my 5th month working here and I could easily communicate with people now.

I went visiting places and joining in parties during my off-work hours, expericing how an Australian live their lives here. It's a cool experience.
