Work and Holiday

I've never thought that I could go to a strange country by my own, working and visiting for such a long time there. I still remember the first day I arrive in Cairns. It was winter in China but summer in Cairns. The weather was really hot. You will get sweaty in five minutes if you stand under the sun.

The agent helped me find the accommodation, picked me up from the airport,  arrange the interview,  and assisted me with bank card and things like that. I started to work in a Chinese restaurant from the second week. My co-workers are very nice and they showed me how to do the work. It was not easy from the beginning since my oral English was not good enough to communicate with the customers. I used every chance to pracitce and nearly three months later, I could speak English fluently. In my spare time, I visited many places and the scenery here is really beautiful.

I stayed in Cairns for 5 months, and then I traveled to Sydney to visit a friend. I found my second job by myself and spent another three months there. After working 8 months in Australia, I went to a farm near Sydney and worked for 3 months there and got the sponsor's provement. I'm now back in China to spend some time with my families. I'm applying for my second work and holiday visa now.
You will never regret to come to Australia on a work and holiday visa!
